Fundraising ''À bas le froid’’

Wondering how to help people experiencing homelessness during the winter? Our ''À bas le froid!'' fundraiser has arrived. For the fourth year running, the À BAS LE FROID fundraiser runs until November 28 on Givingtuesday event. Give the gift of a winter backpack.

Target: Raise $8,000 to make the purchase

Goal: To enable the community to warm the most vulnerable population with a donation to buy winter backpacks filled with essential items.

- 1 donation of $25 = 1 half winter bag

- 1 donation of $50 = 1 winter bag

- 1 donation of $100 = 1 bag to warm 2 people.

 In the backpack: Thermal underwear, wool socks, jogging pants, hoodie, thermal blanket, snacks, hat, gloves and backpack.

If you're convinced, donate a backpack to fit your budget now! Our volunteers will make the backpacks and distribute them at Givingtuesday event on November 28, 2023.

If you'd like to help in other ways, here's how:

• Share the fundraiser on social networks.

• Organize a winter accessory drive in your neighbourhood. To do so, please contact us at donations@lamaisonbenoitlabre.org.

• Refer a company to sponsor our initiative and help us offer even more winter backpacks.

• Write a word of hope that can be included in a backpack and take it home.

In the backpacks: pairs of socks, underwear, snacks, a toque, a pair of gloves, a blanket, jogging pants, a bag and a hoodie.
