Have Your Brownies and eat them too!!
What a week!! We started with a very nice Easter dinner for 95 people, serving not only a full plate of Ham, potatoes and veggies, but even CHEESECAKE for dessert. No kidding! The meals here are normally good, but Yvon definitely outdid himself that day!

This Tuesday we had to say farewell but not good bye to our McGill intern. Meghan Drennan had been helping us at the House for a couple of months now on her stage, and I have to say, we were a little sad to see her go. Thanks for ALL you’re good work Meghan, and I know we’ll see you again!

So I’m sitting here at my desk, typing away as usual...and I am distracted by the DELICIOUS smell of brownies that fills the House. No we don’t have a group preparing dessert, and no its not Yvon cooking… but Isabelle and her art group. Isabelle volunteers her time her every Thursday afternoon giving art courses to all interested. Every week she brings not only her bubbly personality but a very creative art class plan. Her popular class from a making truffles to an art treasure hunt around the city and today Raspberry chocolate brownies. Karine and I were discussing how heart-warming it is to see Isabelle in her chef suit and 4 grown men participating in making brownies. I am also pretty excited to try one!! THANKS Isabelle!!
Have a great weekend everyone!!
